The property was formerly known as The Harrison House Bed & Breakfast. The historic Victorian building underwent a grand and extensive multi-year renovation converting it into one of the city's premier boutique hotels. During the renovation period, the property was known as Hotel Plaas and was featured on a TV series, as well as gaining a large following online.
The owners are finalizing the remaining updates and plan to open to the public in early 2027.
Design
The beautiful Victorian structure has been restored and updated with a combination of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. Architectural features include grand fireplaces, ornate woodwork, oak floors, grand archways, and designer tile finishes.
Accommodations
The building offers 10 guest suites, many of which include wet bars and lounge seating. Each room is individually climate controlled and offers elevated design features.
Common Areas
A large community room (also known as the cocktail lounge), a beautiful living room with fireplace and coffee bar, and a breakfast room featuring bistro tables and leaded glass windows that fill the room with an abundance of natural light.
